I’m Creme, 28, and I’ve been on IMVU since I was 8, though I didn’t fully get into it until 2008. I’ve been creating for about 5 years, inspired by a close friend who helped me get started. My first creation was a white hair mesh, and my most memorable is the "Putrid" mesh heads, which I spent a lot of time on and am really proud of.

I mostly create for female avatars because I use them myself, and I prefer making things like meshes and cosmetics. I’ve dabbled in andro items in the past, but they didn’t sell well. I’m goth in real life, and I’m into gothic rock, darkwave, thrifting, and post-punk. Music is a huge part of my life, and I’m not into the “mainstream goth” aesthetic; I prefer the deeper, underground side of it.

Outside of IMVU, I create on other platforms and spend a lot of time on SL doing cosmetics. I also love sharks, taxidermy, and collecting antiques. I’m a published author as of 2023 and spend a lot of time writing. Christmas and winter are my favorite times of year — cozy and peaceful. I also have two cats, Leviathan and Ezekiel.

My experience with MDI has been positive so far. I’d love to see more freedom with modeling and photos since I feel like the current setup doesn’t highlight the details as much as it should.
