Hi! I’m Cheyenne, but most people just call me Chy.
I’ve never had any issue sharing my real name — it’s part of who I am.

I’ve gone through a ton of names on Vu over the years, but obitchuaries stuck because it’s spooky, silly, and girly all at once… which is basically my whole vibe.

I’ve been on Vu for about eight years now (not counting my chaotic preteen era), and I’ve been creating for six or seven of those. My friends were the ones who pushed me into deving — Janne (Deadly) has been there since the very beginning, and Vee (Amputate) and Vae (Cobweb) have taught me so much. My first creation was hair, and honestly? Hair is still my favorite thing to make. It’s fun, it’s expressive, and the textures and colors are endless.

My personal style leans hard into grunge/punk/goth/emo. I’ve always been an alt girl, went through every phase growing up, and never really stopped. These days my style is probably more punk than anything else. On my main (obitchuaries) I stick to darker colors and neons; on my alt (mewcipurr) I let myself play with pastels and cutesy stuff.

I’m married on Vu to Luciferian, who’s Bat’s alt. I’ve had several wives on my main and alts — Poisoning and Lip — and they’re still some of my closest friends. IRL, I’m not married yet, but I’m in a relationship and completely sure he’s my person.

I’m turning 31 soon, I don’t have kids (VU or real life), and I don’t currently have pets — my only pet passed away recently, so she gets a little honorary mention in my heart forever.

My most memorable creation is a denim jacket covered in patches from all my favorite bands. It’s totally me in clothing form — and yeah, it’s a bit pricey in the catalog, but that’s because I basically made it for my own closet. I mainly prefer creating female items since that’s what I wear, but I used to have a male-deving alt called Bloodletting, and I miss working on him too. I haven’t dipped into andro items yet, but I’m absolutely open to it.

Outside of IMVU, I’m passionate about gardening, plants, gaming, going to the gym, reading, and anything related to mental health. I also love cyberpunk, futuristic styles, and the occasional pastel/yandere aesthetic when I feel like switching it up.

Halloween and Christmas are my all-time favorite times of year.
My favorite food? Cheese and bread — in literally every form.
My favorite music? Hardcore/metalcore and pop punk. Knocked Loose is the band for me (I’ve loved them since 2016), but I’m also big on Beartooth, A Day to Remember, Kublai Khan TX, and Title Fight.

I came to MDI thanks to DeviousSiren, and it’s been a good experience so far. I don’t have any personal promo spaces anymore — I used to run a server, but took it down due to inactivity. Maybe it’ll return someday.

Outside of online life, I’m a high school French teacher. My schedule gets wild, and I have to constantly juggle hobbies because my ADHD brain refuses to choose just one thing to focus on. But honestly? That’s part of the fun.
