My IMVU name is DeviousSiren, but most people call me Dev, Siren, or D. I honestly don’t remember why I picked this name, but it’s been my go-to for 15 years, and it still suits me to this day. I’m not married in real life, but I am married to Richina here on IMVU.

I’ve been on VU for 17 years, this being my second account, and I’ve been creating for 16 years. I started creating because, back then, there wasn’t much in the catalog, and I just wanted to have nice things for myself. Lolirot was definitely one of the people who inspired me. The first thing I made on this account was nails.

I love creating hair—it’s honestly the most relaxing thing for me to make. I’m into goth and punk styles because they just suit me and who I am. I wish there was more purple in my catalog because, honestly, I could use tons of it.

I have 15 cats and a three-legged boxer. I’m 38, soon to be 39 in April next year. My favorite foods are Chinese/Japanese and Italian. As for my most memorable piece of work, I honestly don’t know. I’ve made so many, it’s hard to pick one.

I prefer making items for females because, let’s be real, I can use them too. I’ve made andro items in the past, but mostly I just get inspiration from friends’ outfits in real life and things I see on the internet. If I wasn’t creating for IMVU, I’d be making wax melts—I actually started a wax melt business, and I’m working on perfecting the designs.

I was brought to MDI by a random idea with a few friends 11 years ago, and we had a blast with it. When I came back to IMVU, Richina, who was with us back then, talked me into restarting it.

Of course, I’ve been into goth and BDSM culture. I have kids in real life and on VU. My style is all over the place, but I’m especially fond of fall time and Halloween—it’s my favorite time of year. I love creating hair and skins.

So far, my experience with MDI has been a blast, and I’m always open to changes. I don’t promote my own products much, but I appreciate it when others do, and you share them from time to time. Outside of IMVU, I’m passionate about my wax melt business, and my scents are top-notch!

My favorite music is rock/metal, especially bands like Falling in Reverse, Bad Omens, Black Veil Brides, Jelly Roll, and Eminem—I’ve got a lot of his tracks on my playlist!

A little about myself: I’m a 38-year-old disabled mother. I used to be a nurse and have two college degrees. I was in the middle of earning a third when I was paralyzed from the waist down. It took me a year and a half to relearn how to walk. I can walk now, but I waddle, and I can’t run. I have two internal devices that help me walk and function, and one helps with my bladder. I’m a huge music festival junkie—legit a music WHORE!
