Hey, I'm Ruins (or Ru). My real name’s Mary. I’ve been on IMVU for almost 15 years, with a 10-year break, but I’m back creating since June.

I started making things because I wanted a necklace no one could take from me. Tired of items being deleted or altered, I decided to make my own textures. My first creation was a sticker, but now I focus on furniture and accessories.

My style is dark, kawaii, and 420-friendly, pretty much my RL style. I don’t do much white, though. I have one cat and one turtle. I’m 33 and a total foodie. My most memorable work so far is the skelly heels and the Blue Space Room, which is now my public shop room.

I prefer making female items because of more meshes, but I want to try male items soon. I haven’t made andro items yet but am open to requests.

Inspiration comes from other devs, and if I weren’t creating, I’d be doing work, gym, hiking, gaming, or drawing. I got into MDI through DeviousSiren, and yes, I’m into goth and BDSM cultures. No kids, but I love bimbo and kawaii styles too.

Halloween’s my favorite because you can be anyone, but Thanksgiving wins for the food. I love decorating rooms, so furniture is my fave to create.

My experience with MDI has been great, and I can’t wait for more events! I promote my work in Discord groups but don’t have a specific ad yet. Outside of IMVU, I’m into work, fitness, music, and gaming. I love all kinds of music, as long as it has a good beat.
