I’m Magena (Mah Gee Nah), but you can call me Mags. My IMVU name comes from my Live Action Role Play character name. I’m currently in the process of a real-life divorce and have recently ended my VU marriage as well. I’ve been on VU since the beginning, took a short break in 2006, and came back in 2008.

I started creating in 2010, inspired by a friend. My first creation was hair, but I love making anything really. I enjoy creating for females the most because the meshes are of better quality, and I’ve never been fond of how saggy pants on men always seem like loaded diapers, haha.

I’m 44, born in late April 1980. Mexican food is my favorite, and I find a lot of inspiration for my creations in music. My IMVU sister, Nyctophylia, introduced me to MDI, and it’s been a great experience ever since.

I’ve definitely dabbled in goth and BDSM cultures, and I have one VU child who doesn’t log on much anymore. In real life, I have four adult kids—three girls and one boy. Fall is my favorite time of year. It’s just the right temperature and so beautiful.

Outside of IMVU, I’m passionate about LARPing. During the summer, I join a group of people for a 3-day camping/LARPing session once a month. I also love gardening and grow ingredients to make my own salsa and pasta sauce.
