Sponsor / Developer

My IMVU name is TheForsakenDead, though I also go by TFD or Dami. I’ve been on IMVU for about 17 years, with 16 of those on this particular account. I’ve been creating since around 2009, and honestly, what first inspired me to start creating was the lack of options available back then, especially when it came to non-natural hair colors. It was nearly impossible to find colorful hair, and I wanted to fill that gap. The first thing I ever made was a sticker.

Over the years, I’ve come to really enjoy creating femboy items. There’s something fun about making designs that are feminine, but not in a way that feels like “girl clothes for men.” I tend to lean toward Goth and Punk styles, though I don’t limit myself to just one theme. I find dark aesthetics more appealing and easier to wear, plus I love how versatile goth culture is—there’s a goth style for just about every trend, from pastel goth to romantic goth.

In terms of colors, I’ve used almost every shade at some point, but I do secretly wish my richer blues and greens would sell better. As for pets, I have two cats. I’m 31 years old at the time of this post.

One of the most memorable pieces I’ve created is my ribbon outfits. I’ve remade them a few times, but the reason they stand out for me is not exactly a positive one, so I prefer not to get into the details. When it comes to gender, I much prefer making items for males, specifically femboy designs. I find it easier and more enjoyable to work with male meshes, though masculine clothing can be more challenging due to limited mesh options that I’m not always fond of. Honestly, I feel that a lot of the female clothing designs on IMVU are much better than what I can create, but that’s just my personal preference.

I’m married in the virtual world, and creating is something I truly enjoy.
