Hey, I’m Vicadin — or Vica, Vishy, Naro, Plague, Vespy, depending on who you are and when we met. I prefer to keep my real name private.

I picked my Vu name because I wanted a cool single-word “V” name. Originally, I was ViciousVenom, but those were taken. A friend once said I was like a drug, so Vicadin stuck.

I’ve been on Vu since 2004 (back when it was still beta) and started creating around 2008 because I wanted better rave and Kingdom RP gear. My first creations were male biohazard pants or a throne — can’t recall which came first.

I love making tops, dresses, and hair, but honestly, I switch styles all the time — from gowns to rave to kawaii. I wish I had more dark purples and greens in my catalog. I have a cat named Ringo, and I’m 40 now.

One of my favorite works is my Rick and Morty dark apartment — it was when I realized I’d leveled up as a creator. I prefer making female items, since male meshes rarely fit my style.

Inspiration usually comes from tweaking things I see in the catalog — changing colors or details.

If I wasn’t creating, I’d probably be gaming — maybe Helldiver or Final Fantasy.

I first got involved with MDI thanks to a dev ages ago, and the second time, Def Dev invited me back, and I jumped in.

I’ve dabbled in goth and BDSM culture both in real life and Vu but less these days. I have a few Vu “kids” who still call me mom, and in real life, I’m a stepmom to a 10-year-old.

Halloween and fall are my favorite times of year, especially here in the west from November to March.

I love being part of MDI — great creators, easy-to-find styles, and real conversations. I’d love to see more Vu folks hanging out for events.

Outside IMVU, I spin fire staffs, dance, try new drinks and foods, and run the DJ station — mostly EDM and remixes.

Originally from Ohio, now in Arizona. I ride motorcycles, cosplay, sew, knit, and do crafty stuff. I have 22 piercings and tattoos (more planned). Huge nerd — anime, Game of Thrones, Stargate, board games, and I’m not afraid to be petty or crack a smart joke.
